Batabano Street Parade

The Batabano Street Parade is the national carnival of the Cayman Islands and is a must-see if you're in the area. This year's Batabano Street Parade will be held on May 4, 2024. Botabano is a Caymaniam term for "tracks left in the sand as turtles leave the nest," a fitting term as the festival is held during the first week of turtle nesting season.
The 41st annual carnival will start at Seven Mile Public Beach and end at Georgetown's historic waterfront, where you can hang out at the Batabano Food Festival. Carnivals are an incredible and electric experience filled with colorful costumes, music, dance and pagentry, and so much more. You won't regret attending this spectacular event during your Grand Cayman vacation. Admission is free!
